RedTeam Security's Jeremiah Talamantes was recently interviewed by CSO Online
regarding a massive and sustained Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack on a number of high profile websites made possible with the help of hacked "Internet of Things" (IoT) devices in late October.
As you may recall, the attack was carried out through a conduit by Dyn DNS via compromised Internet-facing CCTVs/DVRs impacting websites such as Twitter, Amazon, Tumblr, Netflix, Spotify, and many others.
