About Penetration Testing I

Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment is an offering designed to help information security professionals better understand evolving network security threats and anticipate how attackers might compromise networks. Already, this program has been utilized by some of the nation’s top financial institutions to train cyber security leaders to assess the vulnerability of their systems and more effectively manage the response processes.

Norwich’s unique approach blends instructor-led lectures and group discussions with virtual lab exercises that replicate real-world scenarios. Recognized by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security as a Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance education, Norwich University offers the penetration testing course to information security professionals across various industries.

The Penetration Testing course utilizes a cloud-based laboratory environment. The virtual lab is accessed through a cloud-service provider, Skytap.
