RedTeam Contributes To Book on Botnets
We are pleased to announce that RedTeam Security managing partner and security researcher, Jeremiah Talamantes, will be serving as a technical editor for a Syngress Publishing book titled, When Botnets Attack. Syngress Publishing is a top notch publisher who is well-known for their books on Digital Forensics, Hacking and Penetration Testing, Certification, IT Security and Administration, and more. Jeremiah will be lending his knowledge in the areas of malware research, botnet research as well as borrowing from a newly launched project called the PlugBot; a research project delving into the realm of hardware botnets.
The book takes a new and innovative approach toward understanding, analyzing and ultimately taking down botnet networks (botnet definition). The release date is scheduled for next year. We're very excited to be a part of such a great publisher who is widely known in the information security industry for providing excellent titles.
